When you come to Hanoi, will reserve at least 6 days to visit Halong Bay and Sapa. Two trips very worthwhile.
SAPA Sapa is famous for the thousands of rice fields that cover the valley, and ethnic groups living in: the Dao, the Tay and H'mong Live. The trek is hard not so much about the gap but the humidity and heat, but it's worth.
Also, if you informais well, you can stay in small hostels in the towns you to visit to see how the Vietnamese live in the countryside. Keyrings much mosquito repellent, you're going to need:)
HALONG BAY
is a more relaxed trip, we only can do by boat. I was 3 days but I think the ideal is 2 because it gives you time to see everything: climbing the tower rusted, see the floating fishing villages, visit the caves and go through "the cemetery of fish." Trekking
